Laser Sniper professional standing determines your hit ability with laser rifles and carbines just as laser pistoleer does for handguns. For weapons with no SIB, your hit ability (HA) is equal to your (Hit) professional standing for the weapon type divided by 10.

Your profession standing in Laser Sniper also determines the range you have with laser carbines and rifles: for weapons without SIB you will get 90% range at level 0 and 100% range at level 100.
