The Pandi pup might look like a cute seal pup much like the ones back on Earth, but just as the grown up Pandi these pups can be dangerous. The IFN Science department have requested that these pups should be classified as a protected species so they can conduct scientific research on them without civilians disturbing their natural behavior. For this reason the IFN has authorized the use of deadly force against anyone seen within the protected Pandi pup habitat.
Although similar to the Pinniped species (seals) back on earth, these Arkadian "Pandi" (Ancient Arkadian name according to the tablets) seem to be even more aggressive than its earthly cousins. Although mainly fish hunters, the older they grow it looks like their diet can even include species that normally doesn't dwell in Pandi-rich waters. This even includes human colonists. The Pandi dentures are built for piercing and holding on to the prey. The powerful flippers seem to be used to fend off rivals and attract mates.
